Explore vast underground caverns filled with enchanting glowworms on an unforgettable black water rafting experience.

Travel from Auckland to Waitomo – along the way your driver will provide interesting commentary about the rural farmland and rolling hills of the region. Your Black Labyrinth rafting adventure will take place inside the impressive Ruakuri Cave, the longest underground cave in the Waitomo caves network.

Kitted out in wetsuit, boots, helmet and your trusty inner tube, you’ll climb, leap and float through the caves. Your expert guide will accompany you as you jump down waterfalls, paddle through rapids and glide through vaulted limestone caves, while glowworms twinkle above.

After three magical hours you’ll emerge into native bush in the Waitomo Forest, Refresh with a hot shower, then tuck into a delicious lunch of authentic Kiwi fish and chips at the Waitomo Glowworm Caves Restaurant.

You can choose to follow your black water adventure with a visit to the other caves in the area (at extra cost), before returning to Auckland.
